Rules of a good domain
- Short and easy to say aloud (under about 15 characters)
- Easy to spell; no hyphens or confusing numbers
- Matches or clearly relates to your business name
- Not too narrow if you may expand services or cities
- Available as a social handle where possible
- No trademark conflict with an existing brand
Which extension?
| Extension | Use it when |
|---|---|
| .com | You serve a global or international audience |
| Country (.uk, .in, .ae, .de, .com.au) | You serve mainly that country; signals local relevance |
| .co, .io, .ai | Tech startups; check renewal prices and brand fit |
| Many new extensions | Only if brandable and trusted by your audience |
Google treats most extensions equally for ranking; choose for trust and memorability, not for keywords.
Do exact-match keywords help?
Not much. A brandable name that people remember and search for gives more long-term value than a keyword-stuffed name. Put keywords in page titles, headings and content instead.

- Turn on auto-renew and registrar lock.
- Add privacy protection if offered.
- Note the renewal price, which can differ from year one.
- Point DNS to your host; we can do this for you.

Frequently asked questions
Is the domain included in your website price?
No. You buy the domain separately (usually yearly) and we connect it to your site.
Can I change my domain later?
Yes, but you will need 301 redirects and some temporary SEO disruption, so choose carefully.
Should I buy several extensions?
Buy the main one and perhaps your country version if you are worried about look-alikes. Redirect extras to the main site.
